CPC Trolleyless
Conveyor Systems
Lean, space-saving, and low-maintenance: trolleyless conveyor systems for pressure-free transport, precise separation, and efficient sorting – as a standalone solution or combined with the ILS 2100 and Omniflo.
CPC Trolleyless Conveyor Systems
Transport without trolleys –
lean, low-maintenance, precise.
In internal logistics, it is often necessary to transport large quantities of items quickly and gently to a downstream area for further processing, or to distribute them selectively. With the CPC Trolleyless Conveyor Systems from Schoenenberger Systems, a portfolio of conveyor types is available that meaningfully complements the trolley product range and is compatible with both the ILS 2100 and Omniflo.
Pin conveyors, latch conveyors, endless conveyors and sorting conveyors each address different requirement profiles. The ideal technology for each application is defined based on the product, spatial conditions, and individual requirements – lean in profile, versatile in use.
CPC systems can be combined with each other as well as with the ILS 2100 and Omniflo. Loading, unloading, and transfer stations enable a continuous garment-on-hanger flow without system breaks.
In addition to clothing on hangers, goods can also be transported on clamping hangers with a hanger head – for items outside the traditional apparel range.
Product Family
Four conveyor types.
One seamless solution.
Reliable transport of goods on steep inclines and declines. Ideal for large volume flows with the same destination. Enables fast collection of hanging goods directly from a truck – combined with a loading beam, vehicle downtime can be significantly reduced. Double-sided discharge and safe transfer to connecting conveyors or static chute areas. Particularly suited where prior trolley loading would be an unnecessary intermediate step.
Pressure-free transport through positive-locking engagement: each coat hanger is individually held and guided – no accumulation pressure, no contact between adjacent items. Goods can be fed into the conveyor manually and are automatically discharged one by one. Combines transport and accumulation buffer in a single system. The flow of goods can be interrupted easily at specific points – for example at a passageway or in an emergency.
Highly flexible conveyor for transporting large quantities, for example between building sections or over longer distances. Minimal lifetime costs through low-maintenance design and energy-efficient operation. Suitable for batch delivery to warehouse areas and capable of bridging larger distances within a logistics centre.
Very space-saving sorter for the targeted distribution of products, for example into storage rows or to delivery points. Cost-efficient sorting solution for standard products without the overhead of a full high-performance sorter. Enables the setup of simple hanging sorter systems even in confined spaces.
Key Advantage
Pressure-free transport –
every item separated, never under pressure.
In conventional accumulation conveyor systems, the build-up of goods creates pressure between items. For delicate garments, this can lead to quality issues: creasing, displaced hangers, damaged packaging. The CPC latch conveyor addresses this at the system level. Each coat hanger is individually guided in a positive-locking manner – the next item only advances once the previous one has been released.
This not only protects the goods, but also enables reliable separation before reading stations, packing stations, or transfer points – without additional mechanics.

System Advantages
What CPC Trolleyless
Conveyor Systems can deliver.
The latch conveyor guides each coat hanger individually in a positive-locking manner – no accumulation pressure, no quality risk for high-value or delicate items.
Pin conveyors transport goods reliably even on steep inclines and declines – without additional lifting devices or interruptions in the goods flow.
No trolleys, no conventional wear parts on the load carrier: CPC systems are designed for low operating costs over their entire service life.
The sorting conveyor distributes items precisely into storage rows or to delivery points – cost-efficiently and within a minimal footprint, without the complexity of high-performance sorter technology.
All four conveyor types can be combined with each other as well as with the ILS 2100, Omniflo, and the Pouch Sorter – enabling a continuous overhead conveyor system without system breaks.
Pin conveyors combined with a loading beam can enable the direct transfer of hanging goods from a truck – one possible way to reduce vehicle downtime at the inbound dock.
Applications
Who benefits from CPC
Trolleyless Conveyor Systems?
Pin conveyors supply assembly workstations selectively from the ceiling – for example with seat covers or other hanging-transported components. The direct flow from goods receipt to the production line can be realised without trolley loading.
High-quality garments benefit particularly from the pressure-free latch conveyor. Delicate items are transported individually and gently – without creasing, without hanger displacement, across any number of line sections.
Endless conveyors are suited for transporting large quantities between building sections or over longer warehouse distances. Sorting conveyors handle cost-efficient distribution into storage rows – even where space is limited.
In installations already using ILS 2100 or Omniflo, CPC systems can be integrated selectively into specific areas – wherever trolleyless transport is the more efficient choice, e.g. on inclines, for direct supply, or in tight spaces.
System Combination
CPC with ILS 2100 and Omniflo –
the complete overhead conveyor system.
Trolleyless conveyor systems and trolley systems are not mutually exclusive – they complement each other. Dedicated loading, unloading, and transfer stations for the ILS 2100 and Omniflo enable seamless transitions between technologies within a single installation. Goods flow without interruption from the trolleyless section onto the trolley carrier and back.
Typical combination scenarios: pin conveyor for direct goods receipt from the truck → transfer to Omniflo for warehouse transport → ILS 2100 for automated sorting at despatch. Or: latch conveyor for pressure-free transport on the last metre before the packing station, combined with the ILS 2100 as the main sorter.
